Every day thousands of pets are put to sleep because their owners did not want them, couldn't care for them, or because they were missunderstood. If you are wanting to add to your family there are lots of options for you. Please take the time to look around and find your perfect pet at some local animal shelters or rescues.
 
Remember, adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment. If you just moved to a new city or may be moving sometime in the future take your pet into consideration. There are short term foster parenting programs for those that may want to see if a pet is right for them before adopting.
